Fyke nets

Passive hoop nets with aluminum hoops, featuring wings and a leader, designed to keep fish alive.
The fyke net directs the fish into a holding chamber and keeps them alive for long periods. Its flexibility allows it to be used at any depth and in various habitats. It is made of knotless nylon mounted on aluminum hoops of varying numbers and diameters. The first hoop, often rectangular, facilitates the attachment of the wings and the central leader. Filmar offers the mini, short (3 hoops) and regular (5 hoops) fyke net, with a square or circular opening, as well as the double fyke net and the turtle fyke net. The heavy-duty model suspends the net inside the hoops by nylon lines: only the metal touches the bottom.
